We are recruiting a Level 1 Fraud Prevention Customer Service Representative for one of our key clients, a well-established company in the Lugano area.

Remote work: to begin after completion of the initial training period

DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES

• Handling customer inquiries over the phone, ensuring professional and prompt assistance even in sensitive or urgent situations.
• Support for customers traveling abroad regarding issues with debit and credit cards.
• Analysis and review of suspicious transactions with the aim of identifying potential cases of fraud.
• Initiation of the security procedures established in the event of card misuse.
• Management of the permanent deactivation of cards and coordination of their replacement.
• Collaboration in the implementation of measures to prevent and mitigate risks related to financial fraud.
• Monitoring of suspected cases and enforcement of company safety protocols.
• Use of computer systems designed to manage reports and anti-fraud audits.
• Work is performed on rotating shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., with occasional work on Saturdays.

REQUIREMENTS

• Business training or equivalent experience.
• Excellent knowledge of German and French; knowledge of English and/or Italian is a plus.
• Previous experience in telephone customer service is preferred.
• Interest in the field of fraud prevention and financial security.
• A natural aptitude for working with customers and a strong commitment to service.
• A calm and reliable person who can handle stressful situations with professionalism.
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new computer systems.
• Willingness to work shifts.
