  • We are recruiting a Head of the B2B Division for Ticino and Sales and Marketing Business Unit Manager for one of our key clients in the Bellinzona area, a well-established company in the IT sector.

    Work location: Bellinzona area
    Remote work: Approximately 1 day per week

    DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES

    • Lead and develop the B2B business in the Ticino region, contributing to the growth and consolidation of the division by defining and implementing sales strategies;
    • Take direct responsibility for the Sales & Marketing Business Unit, monitoring performance, KPIs, and sales targets;
    • Coordinate and supervise two Business Units responsible for the sale of specialized products, delivery, and consulting, ensuring synergy and alignment among the various functions;
    • Support management and operational teams in managing complex negotiations and high-value-added consulting activities;
    • Consolidate and develop strategic relationships with clients and partners;
    • Successfully represent the division to internal stakeholders through relationships built on trust;
    • Promote the company’s positioning in the ICT market by identifying new business opportunities;
    • Collaborate across technical, consulting, and delivery functions to ensure service quality and continuity;
    • Manage, motivate, and develop structured teams, fostering a culture focused on results and collaboration (15–20 direct reports, 30–50 indirect reports);
    • Contribute to the division’s organizational evolution through a dynamic and strategic managerial approach;
    • Monitor market trends, technological developments, and commercial opportunities in the ICT sector.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Excellent knowledge of Italian;
    • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written German. Knowledge of Swiss German is a plus;
    • Good knowledge of English.
    • Proven experience in managerial and sales roles within the ICT or IT sectors;
    • Proven experience managing structured teams and managerial staff;
    • Strong ability to define sales strategies, KPIs, and business development plans;
    • Excellent knowledge of B2B dynamics and consultative sales processes;
    • Experience managing internal and external stakeholders at various organizational levels;
    • Strategic approach combined with a strong focus on operations and achieving objectives;
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills;
    • Ability to influence and coordinate stakeholders across the organization;
    • Good knowledge of the economic landscape of Ticino and Switzerland is preferred;
    • A professional network within the Ticino business community is considered a significant plus;
    • Willingness to travel regularly between Ticino and the rest of Switzerland;
