We are recruiting a Civil Project Engineer for one of our important clients, a well-established company in the Lugano area.

• Analyze and develop the design mandate in its various phases, taking into account technical and regulatory principles, the budget, and the project manager's instructions.
• Be responsible for the assigned design activity, ensuring that the objectives defined with the project manager are achieved.
• Collaborate with the project manager to ensure the proper progress of the mandate and design phases.
• Verify structural calculations using alternative methods to ensure the technical validity of the results.
• Perform activities according to the firm's methodology and in full compliance with current regulations.
• Monitor the execution times of assigned activities.
• Organize work among collaborators, ensuring efficient use of resources and motivating the project team.
• Maintain regular contact with the Project Manager to ensure the proper performance of activities and the resolution of any critical issues.
• Promptly report any technical issues or delays in relation to the established timelines.
• Ensure an effective flow of information within the project team.
• Monitor the progress of project activities in relation to available resources and delivery deadlines.
• Apply, within the scope of their responsibilities, the Company Quality Management Manual (MGQ).
• Prepare the technical part of documents relating to bids and tenders for engineering services.YOUR PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
• Master's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structures.
• Minimum 3 years and maximum 10 years of experience in civil engineering design, ideally in Switzerland (considered a highly valued plus). Candidates without specific experience in Switzerland but with relevant experience in Italy or abroad will also be considered.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues.
• Knowledge of Midas / Straus7 structural modeling software (preferred).
• Competence in BIM design (preferred).
• Good knowledge of French and/or German (preferred).
• Determination and proactivity.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Goal-oriented.
