We are recruiting a Sales Technician in the construction sector in Ticino for one of our major clients, a well-established Swiss company.

Work location: Bellinzona – remote work
Remote work: The position is primarily based in a home office and involves fieldwork

MANSIONS
- Manage and develop relationships with the assigned client portfolio in the Ticino region.
- Plan and conduct regular visits to construction companies, architects, designers, retailers, and construction sites.
- Understand customer needs and propose technical solutions tailored to ongoing projects.
- Identify new business opportunities among existing customers and re-engage inactive contacts.
- Build and strengthen long-term professional relationships with key industry stakeholders.
- Monitor the progress of construction sites and maintain constant contact with clients throughout the various phases of the projects.
- Work closely with the in-house team and headquarters on a daily basis to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Manage the entry and transmission of orders to the relevant departments.
- Manage your own schedule
- Handle essential administrative tasks related to sales operations.
- Represent the company in the local area by promoting a consultative, customer-focused approach rather than aggressive sales tactics.
- Contribute to the development of the Ticino market by increasing sales and expanding business relationships. Typical responsibilities for similar roles include maintaining a strong local presence, independently managing client accounts, and providing business development consulting.
HIS PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
- Professional experience gained in the construction industry.
- Technical training in the fields of construction, architecture, or engineering is preferred.
- We are also interested in candidates with backgrounds in operational roles such as site foreman, construction technician, surveyor, architect, civil engineer, or similar positions who are interested in pursuing a career in sales.
- Familiarity with the construction site environment and its operational dynamics.
- Experience in sales or customer service is a plus, but it is not a requirement.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational autonomy and a goal-oriented approach.
- A willingness to work in the field and interact directly with customers and partners.
- Excellent knowledge of Italian.
- Excellent command of German, both written and spoken
- Strong computer skills in using the main digital tools.
- Driver's license.
- Reliability, entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the Ticino region.
