We are recruiting aSenior IT Security Architect for one of our key clients, a well-established company in the Lugano area.

DUTIES AND ACTIVITIES

• Define, update, and maintain corporate IT security standards, including frameworks, guidelines, and best practices

• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards (e.g., NIST CSF, PCI-DSS)

• Translating business needs into secure technological solutions by designing robust and efficient IT architectures

• Assess and review systems, applications, and infrastructure from a security perspective

• Apply advanced cybersecurity principles such as Zero Trust and Defense in Depth

• Support strategic technology decisions to ensure resilience and protection against constantly evolving threats

• Work with various IT and business teams to align business objectives with security requirements

• Conduct risk analysis, threat modeling, and security architecture reviews
   

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• A master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT Architecture, or an equivalent field is preferred

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role as an IT Security Architect or in senior positions in the field of IT security/architecture

• Strong leadership skills and a structured approach to analysis and conceptual modeling

• Proven experience in risk management, threat modeling, and security architecture reviews

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

• In-depth knowledge of the main security frameworks and standards (particularly the NIST CSF); experience with PCI-DSS is a plus

• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, or equivalent) are a plus

• Excellent knowledge of English; Italian is strongly preferred; German is a plus
