We are recruiting an IT Systems Engineer for one of our key clients, a well-established company in the Locarno area

JOB DESCRIPTION • Provide first- and second-level technical support to customers, both on-site and remotely
• Manage, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure continuity and reliability
• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to systems, networks, and operating environments
• Assist customers with digital transformation and technology upgrade projects
• Support the implementation and configuration of solutions based on Microsoft 365 and related services
• Provide training and consulting to end users and IT teams on the use of Microsoft platforms (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform)
• Participate in the management of technical projects, contributing to the design and deployment of solutions

YOUR PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

• At least 5 years of experience in IT, system administration, or technical support
• IT education or equivalent experience
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange)
• Solid experience with virtualization systems, preferably VMware
• Excellent knowledge of backup solutions, preferably Acronis
• Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps)
• Good knowledge of cloud environments
• Knowledge of network security and firewalls (preferably Sophos)
• Good knowledge of Windows client and Linux operating systems
• Hardware skills regarding IT devices (PCs, peripherals, printers, networking)
• Experience in AWS environments and/or related certifications is a plus
• Microsoft certifications (MS-102, AZ-900) are preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and goal-oriented approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for direct customer contact
• Ability to work independently, methodically, and reliably
• Good command of the English language
