  • We are seeking a Quality manager for watch assembly department for our client, a very important international industry based in the beautiful area of Locarno.
    START: as soon as possible
    CONTRACT: permanent
    WORKING HOURS: 06:00 am - 3:00 pm


    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
     
    • Quality assurance solving technical problems (T2-T4).
    • Assistant to the Chief of Watchmaker
    • Oversees the technical training
    • Ensure that qualitative and quantitative targets are constantly met. Improve productivity and quality.
    • Assembly of watches mechanical and quartz (T2-T3)
    • Carrying out all necessary adjustments
    • Provide valuable, accurate communication and feedback to clients to ensure an exceptional personal client experience that would exceed their expectations.
    • Manage any internal client service issues while maintaining the brand's high standards, using all appropriate resources, in a timely manner to ensure complete client satisfaction.
    • Maintain familiarity with product lines
    • Daily organization and management of the watchmaking department
    • Oversees the technical training
    • Ensure that qualitative and quantitative targets are constantly met. Improve productivity and quality. Planning, delegation and control of work.
    • Develop the workshop by coaching co-workers and encourage individual development. Apply lean structures and training to maximize efficiency of employees. Evaluate the work of the watchmakers to improve the overall quality of the services provided and keep comeback services to an absolute minimum
    • Assembly of watches (T0-T3)
    • Cooperation in component finishing
    • Service work of third-party products
    • Independent assembly and testing of mechanical assemblies and complete instruments
    • Carrying out all necessary adjustments
    • Independent assistance in the improvement of work processes
    • Provide valuable, accurate communication and feedback to clients to ensure an exceptional personal client experience that would exceed their expectations.
    • Manage any internal client service issues while maintaining the brand's high standards, using all appropriate resources, in a timely manner to ensure complete client satisfaction.
    • Maintain familiarity with product lines
    • Maintain organized and updated required company documentation to guarantee compliance, client satisfaction; and for building long-term relationships.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
    • Watchmaker EFZ or an equivalent qualification
    • Structured and clean way of working
    • Independent way of working
    • Several years of experience in working with high quality watches
    • Responsible, solution-oriented and team-oriented personality with a positive attitude
    • Good knowledge of French and English
    • Strong Team Player
    • Excellent knowledge of and experience with mechanical and quartz watches
