  • We are seeking a Sales Manager Sourcing & Refining for our client, a very important international industry based in the beautiful Mendrisiotto area.  

    • Seek metal sources for refining to maximize revenue subject to strict compliance and governance (Mines, Recycled material, good delivery / good delivery like)
    • Liaise with production ensuring that capacity and sources are aligned, ensuring constant supply and compliant material quality
    • Visit customers in conjunction with local offices maximizing cross-selling opportunities
    • Manage sourcing strategy for our site in terms of:
    • Quantity, quality & potential new opportunities
    • Manage key account customers with the key account management team
    • Establish CRM system & update visit report methodology
    • Close cooperation with Compliance, Compliance Management and Legal in onboarding and proactive customer monitoring
    • Participate in Trade Fairs, (eg Mining shows), Roundtable Associations, Industrial Association Meetings
    • Proactively seek and obtain customer trends, future trends and developments (market, technology, ecosystem)
    • Support all customer escalation topics as first line of escalation for Business Development, Account Management, and customer support teams.

    • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a position of Sales Management in mining business
    • Must be highly motivated and able to develop relationships at all levels within target accounts
    • Must have excellent leadership and verbal and written communication skills
    • Technical degree is required, chemistry would be preferred.
    • Proven ability to map out a customer, its organization, products, and future development roadmap
    • Demonstrated expertise in negotiating and ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and strong problem-solving skills
    • Able to travel as required, up to 50%
    • Very good English communication and writing skills (knowledge of Spanish would be an asset)
