  • We are seeking a Power Electronic Engineer for our client based in the beautiful Locarno area.

    • Holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics, coupled with substantial professional experience in a similar role within the industry.
    • Demonstrates profound expertise in analog, power, and digital electronics.
    • Possesses a proficient command of VHDL and electronic simulation tools.
    • Proficient in programming languages (C, C++, C# and VB.net), Matlab/Simulink, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
    • Familiarity with electro mechanics, plant engineering, and proficiency in quality processes (including FMEA analysis).
    • Language Skills: Fluent in Italian, with technical proficiency in spoken and written English.
    • Exhibits soft skills such as a methodical and detail-oriented mindset, adept at collaborating within a team as well as working independently.
    • Displays a proactive approach towards personal improvement and embraces technical challenges.

    • Engage in the design, simulation, commissioning, and maintenance of power, analog, and digital electronics. Ensure compliance with standards for the current and future hardware platform of the generator.
    • Develop and sustain Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD), Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), embedded Real-Time Firmware (RT FW), and Software (SW) code for process control.
    • Attain proficiency in process control operations on machinery, including troubleshooting and analysis of the Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) process.
    • Oversee the creation and management of a database, along with the approval and integration of new components. Engage in secondary procurement activities through the 4DX process.
    • Provide production support in the establishment of test systems, especially during pre-series stages and troubleshooting instances. Additionally, contribute to Product Quality Improvement (PQI) activities.
